Instructional Aide/Special Needs
Immediate Supervisor: Teacher/Director of Special Education
Job Qualifications: Minimum 64 College Credit Hours
Specific Duties:
1. Work with small groups of students to reinforce learning experiences.
2. Perform clerical duties as directed by the teacher.
3. Type tests and reports as requested by the teacher, principal, and/or director.
4. Assiststudents with special assignments/projects.
5. Assist with class work at the request of the teacher.
6. Guide independentstudy, enrichment activities/work, and other remedial activities.
7. Check/grade assignments and assist with make-up work.
8. Maintain records of attendance and/or grades at the request of the teacher.
9. Assist with the physical needs of students as outlined in IEP or 504 plans.
10. Monitor students on bus.
11. Participate in Medicaid monitoring for School Based Health Services and School Based
Administrative Claims.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher, Principal, DOSE or Superintendent.
